Badusha Recipe

:: I love home made badusha and the sweet stall one,both has a unique taste. My mom makes very often,if some relatives visit us or if we were visiting them,then she will make this in a jiffy,I used to help her and this is diwali festival special too ::

   Ingredients
 • 100 grams maida(All purpose flour)
 • 20 grams dalda
 • 1 tablespoon curd
 • 1 pinch baking soda
 • 1 pinch salt
 • 2 tablespoon sugar
 • Oil for (deep frying)

 FOR SWEET SUGAR SYRUP:
 • ½ cup sugar
 • 2 tablespoon water
 • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
  Elachi powder 2 Pinches

     Preparation Method
1. First Mix together curd,soda and salt. and to the above mixture add dalda and maida
  to form a dough similar to chappathi dough by sprinkling water if required.

2. Now Keep the dough aside for an hour and Make small balls and flatten it.


Make a
  depression with thumb at the centre and Fry this in oil until a golden brown color.


  Allow to cool and Make sugar syrup to one string consistency.Dip each badusha in the
  syrup and keep aside till it dries.
