Instructions to do proper Upward-Facing Dog
(Urdhva Mukha Svanasana):
ā¢ Lay down on your abs
ā¢ Hands beside the side ribs
ā¢ Soften the upper back
ā¢ Inhale & exhale, push the hands and lift yourself off the floor (only toes & palms are on the floor).
Benefits of practicing Upward-Facing Dog

ā¢ Strengthening the spine, arms, wrists
ā¢ Stretching chest and lungs, shoulders, and abdomen
