Instructions to do proper Upward-Facing Dog
(Urdhva Mukha Svanasana):
• Lay down on your abs
• Hands beside the side ribs
• Soften the upper back
• Inhale & exhale, push the hands and lift yourself off the floor (only toes & palms are on the floor).
Benefits of practicing Upward-Facing Dog
(Urdhva Mukha Svanasana):
• Strengthening the spine, arms, wrists
• Stretching chest and lungs, shoulders, and abdomen
